A first-party visit record may include a name or email address when that information is available through an active website session.
Learning and service activity
Depending on the BoardQBank service used, we may process information related to course access, quiz or assessment activity, responses, completion status, preferences, technical events, and other interactions needed to provide and improve the service.
Please do not submit medical records, government identification numbers, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary contact forms or email unless we specifically request it through an appropriate secure process.

6. Consent and lawful handling
We seek consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information where consent is required, and we may otherwise handle information as permitted or required by applicable law. The appropriate form of consent may depend on the sensitivity of the information, the purpose, the context, and reasonable expectations.
You may withdraw consent to optional uses by contacting us, subject to reasonable notice and legal or contractual restrictions. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to provide features or services that depend on the information.
8. Processing outside Canada
BoardQBank and its service providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws and lawful-access requirements of the jurisdiction where it is processed. BoardQBank remains responsible for personal information under its control and uses contractual, administrative, and technical measures appropriate to the circumstances.
9. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to provide services, maintain appropriate business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements.
First-party visitor log files are currently configured for deletion after up to 180 days. The first-party browser visitor identifier is currently configured for up to 365 days. Account, purchase, support, security, and legal records may be retained for different periods. Backup copies may remain for a limited time after active records are deleted.
10. Security
BoardQBank uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction. Measures may include access controls, password protection, restricted administrative tools, transport encryption, logging, backups, and security monitoring.
No internet transmission, website, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and should notify BoardQBank promptly if they suspect unauthorized access to an account.
11. Privacy choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and appropriate identity verification, you may ask BoardQBank to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you;
- provide access to personal information under our control;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information;
- explain how personal information has been used or disclosed;
- withdraw consent to optional uses, where applicable; or
- review or respond to a privacy concern or complaint.
Some requests may be limited by law, the rights of another person, security requirements, legal privilege, record-retention duties, or the need to verify the requester’s identity. We may retain certain information after a deletion or withdrawal request when required or permitted by law.
12. Children and young users
BoardQBank services are primarily designed for examination candidates and adult learners and are not directed to children under 13. A parent or legal guardian who believes a child has submitted personal information without appropriate authorization should contact us so that we can review the matter.
